Denki fails an exercise for walking on vertical terrain at the Academy. His buddies provide him with counsel. Denki is upset since this is the first time he has failed an exam, and he is afraid of having to retake the Academy like Iwabee, which causes discomfort when Iwabee hears him.

Sarada seeks to bring a doll to a patient under Sakura’s care in this episode. Sarada volunteers to finish the work in Sakura’s place while she is on vacation. Of course, the delivery goes wrong, and Sarada must decide if it’s worth risking her cool to finish the job.

To Sai’s dismay, Inojin chooses to start preparing photocopies of his drawings in anticipation of his Academy graduation examinations, rather than drawing them in combat. Chji is pitted against Chch and Shikadai. Inojin tries to use the duplicates he prepared ahead of time, but they shatter before he can attack.

Boruto battles Kawaki in a devastated Konohagakure in the future and the two dispute about the end of the shinobi era… After being noticed, Boruto jumps off the train and notices Denki being picked on. Boruto uses shadow clones to fight the bullies, then flees with him as more approachable.

Boruto watches for Himawari, who is bedridden, while Hinata goes to get her medicine. Boruto recalls Himawari’s prior misfortunes, as well as Naruto’s elevation to Hokage. Naruto was late for his inauguration since he had been out celebrating with his buddies the night before.

Boruto and Himawari question if Naruto will be able to make it the day before the festival, but Hinata assures them that he will before departing to see her father.

Sakura and Sarada are watching Naruto on TV as he announces the Parent and Child Day holiday, and Sakura apologizes for having to work that day. Sarada is taken aback when she discovers him. Sasuke says that he’d just arrived in the hamlet that Boruto had told him where she’d be and that he’d want to invite her to the festivals.

The synopsis for episode 106 of “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” seems as though Mirai already knows her purpose is to accompany Kakashi and Might Guy to the hot spring. Mirai had hoped that the assignment in “Steam Ninja Scrolls” would be an S-ranked quest featuring fighting opportunities.
